Lonpos Colorful Cabin Brain Teaser Puzzle Review
Lonpos Colorfun Cabin is a brainteaser which has 12 pieces. Each piece consistsof three, four or five balls welded together in a unique shape. Plastic hinged case has playing surface on the inside and the top outside. Case measures approximately 4 by 5 inches closed. Pieces seat nicely into the recessed round indentations in the case.
There are hundreds of challenges each slightly different. In most cases one attempts to place all the pieces flat in the case. To vary the puzzle select one color piece and place it in the top center position. Consider it as an anchor piece. Do not move from this position. Now attempt to fit in the remaining eleven pieces into the case.
Includes small 10 page instruction booklet. The instructions can be slightly confounding because the translation into English would rate a "D-" in a high school freshman english class. Otherwise, this puzzle has lots of play value for those who enjoy thinking creatively. Multiple/Hundreds of 2D and 3D challenges. And it is fairly simple to discern how the puzzle goal.
Colorful Cabin is similar to another popular puzzle called Kanoodle. Colorful Cabin has many more challenges, more interesting design and better quality case. Manufacturer provides hints to puzzles on their web site.
Great puzzle for enhancing spatial skills, problem solving and design. This is one of those puzzles that is hard to break away from once a person begins playing.
